The end of the “vale tudo” VT UOL forum

Surely a place where many spent their teenage years. Today they must all be parents and 40+ years old. Most of them became liferulers.

A place where I made many friends and many enemies too. That forum was everything to me.

End of the vale tudo VT uol forum

I was there when I was sad and even when I was happy. In front of the computer, with my cornflakes, while playing Tibia.

Very good times that will never come back.

It’s true that there have been other VTs since then. But it’s no longer the same essence. People don’t talk about the same problems anymore. The userbase isn’t even the same.

There will never again be those awesome meetups we used to have.

Or those great threads with users’ stories.

RIP VT UOL. 2002–2018.

Best forum and the best user base it ever had. Many famous people from the gaming world came from there. Izzy, Edu…

Wow, I didn’t know that one.

Where could that user who was like a teen magazine heartthrob be now, huh?

What do you think was the reason that led them to shut it down? There was never a lack of activity there. I’ve seen days with more than 5k online.

The VT was well known, but this forum was a reference point for games.
